An American flag waves freely in the breeze. It's bold colors of red, white and blue are striking against a brillant blue sky. The stars are flaming and the stripes seem to go on forever. Does your heart beat harder? Does it make you want to stand a little taller? The national athem is being sung at the kickoff of a ball game...does it make you want to rise from your seat, stand proud,remove your hat and place your hand over your heart and sing along? When you pass a service man or women in your heart and soul are you whispering "Thank you for serving our country"? When scenes of the battle front flash accross your screen do you whisper a prayer for our soldiers? When you look across a field full of corn or wheat does it make you think about how full we are as a nation? When you get up and Sunday morning, put on your pressed shirt and tie and walk into the house of God, Does it make you thankful for your spiritual freedom? Are you TRULY proud to be an American?? I trust you are, and if not, take the time to look around you and count your blessings and realize how much went behinde the makeing of our freedoms. Stand tall and be counted as a true American. Take that extra moment and thank that service man personally. When Old Glory passes you STAND TALL. And at that next Baseball game Belt out (or at least hum in your head) our National Anthem. But most of all BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN AND SHOW IT!!!!!
